Body Clique asks how the body operates within a state of constant internet connectivity. A dance troupe performs clicks, scrolls, and zooms, translating the finger movements of phones, mice, and other devices into full-body gestures. The video explores the tension between technological immersion and embodied experience, tracing how digital interfaces shape movement, attention, and interaction. Drawing from sources ranging from memetics to cyberspace theory, the work considers how networked systems structure human behavior. By performing gestures borrowed from screens and interfaces, the dancers make visible the physical habits embedded in virtual life. Body Clique reflects on a contemporary condition in which bodies remain present, yet are increasingly mediated through digital systems.
